The IG 18 entered service in 1932 and became one of the most widely used guns in Wehrmacht Service, My diorama shows a Waffen SS crew, with Oak Leaf pattern Autumn smocks in action summer 1943 on the Russian Front, not yet repainted is the overall sand colour which was made standard in 1943 , the gun is still in the older panzer grey colour, well liked by it's crews it had a rate of fire of between 8-12 rounds per minute. Enjoy.
Many thanks to Ms. Lavigne.
